Emergency Feature on your Vertex Radio

The Vertex Standard radio includes an emergency feature, which may be useful if you have someone monitoring on the same frequency as your transceivers channel. This feature can be programmed to one of your option buttons, or set to a certain frequency on your channels knob. This feature is great for any hotels looking to up their security. Instead of trying to reach every channel one-by-one, the emergency feature allows for you to reach every channel at once, and warn them of the emergency fast.

As with all Vertex Standard portable radios, the VX-231 includes both Emergency and Lone Worker alert functions to help monitor user safety. The Emergency alert can be programmed to instantly notify help with a press of the button.

The Lone Worker mode is a built-in timer that requires the user to reset at a predetermined interval. If not reset, the radio automatically switches to Emergency mode to alert help. Allows supervisors to monitor the safety status of radio users working alone in isolated areas.

This radio is one that exhibits safety  first when it comes to communication.
